That German "Supercar" on Top Gear tonight was absolutely stunning??

Also, am i the only one who thinks that was the worst series of Top Gear since it has been on TV??

I like cars that mean business. That one certainly looked like it meant business and obviously you would not see to many others so a thumbup from me

The Gumpert definitely is ugly if you compare it against a Lambo or Ferrari but I don't think that the designers wanted to do that anyway, more like a very expensive trackday car.

Btw. doesn anybody know what JC always finds first when he searches the internet? They never show it on TV so I suspect it's something naked

I think the name of the car is awful, I don't think it looked as awful as they were saying, it was quirky! I thought it looked a bit Noble-esque!

I thought this series was absolutely shocking - I haven't enjoyed watching any of the episodes. I think they are putting-on this kind of dumbness to make them look funny - didn't work for me!

There didn't really seem to be much substance to the series, and not really much about new cars...the X-Bow last night for instance - great car, but I say it at Le Mans a year ago...starting to think 5th Gear is getting better!!

I also thought it looked a bit Nobleesque but i could even see a hint of Lotus in it. As i say to my missus, ugly is beautiful sometimes.......
The show is too predictable and staged even down to placing an attractive female in camera shot behind JC whenever he talks..........

That's the last thing I would complain about.... I remember one particular show this season... I quite enjoyed this season but they should come up with a few new things (like they did with the TG stuntmen). At the moment it's a bit too predictable

i can only rememebr one show that i thought "at last, back to form" and that was the show with the Alfas.
There havs been some sporadic good bits but it hasnt been consistent. Even the Jay Kay thing last night was predictable. I also thought they missed a trick with the challenge with the German presenters, they could of had a serious challenge which would have been much more interesting. It was very Vroom Vroom (Sky channel), they will be playing cat and mouse next............

I thought it was the funniest series so far , even had my wife laughing sometimes !
The Gumpert was designed to do the job , not to look pretty, F1 cars don't have supercar looks .

i think they are trying too hard to be funny. If i wanted comedy i would watch School of Rock or Nutty Professor.
I suppose its all about opinions and what people want from a motoring programme.

edited to add ; the two funniest films ever IMO.

Rubbish!

Always watch it as when they feature car's they do a good test drive, I'm all for a little bit of fun but they should cover at least 4 new car's every show, this currant series is nonsense if all they want to do is mess around then call if something else and then film Top Gear?

I can't wait for Fifth Gear at least they show new car's even if their presenters are all aholes

As a TV program, its become a real red top. Maybe even a comic. Good for a laugh but serious information - never.

I do miss the cars though.

No mention at all of the Evora this week.. guessing it must have been filmed more than a week in advance.

At least on fifth gear you'll know they'll be a shoot out of something even if it's a hot hatch.

There appears to be a new car launched every week but they sometime struggle to review just 1.

Whatever happend to Dream cars ? Where that clever "mark" bloke rebuilt cars (sometimes upgrading them too) and then there was a phone-in to win them. I have to admit they were the only phone-ins I actually went for. I think he's on Discovery H&L building planes and helicopters etc.
