Silverstone Classic? Sunday? Missing Tyre Valve Cover?

Hi All

At the Silverstone Classic today I 'apprehended' three unaccompanied kids, helping themselves to tyre valve covers from displayed cars . I managed to retrieve a pocketful. If you are missing one or two (seemed to only be taking one from each car), then I may have it.

I gave a handful of Jaguar ones to someone from one of the owners clubs in display area 5. I think they were going to post on a forum (don't know which one).

Some are obvious which marque they came from, others are plain aluminium / stainless steel (no idea which!). If you are missing one or two and want them back, then I am happy to post it to you. A photo of a remaining one may be useful to match it to!

Well done. I hope the little sts went away with more than empty pockets...

They were lucky that by the time I was sure of what they were doing and stopped them, that I was too far away from the rest of the people from the club I was with - one of the covers was from one of our cars, and one of our members is a police officer.

Little sods tried to deny it too - but weren't bright enough to realise that I could hear them all rattling in their pockets.

The entrance tickets state that children should not be unaccompanied.............
