bloody annoying chinese food woman
Discussion
Now I love cooking chinese food. Tonight i had sweet and sour chilli tofu and stir-fried greens with oyster sauce, and i probably enjoy the challenge of getting Chinese food right more than any other cuisine, especially all the deep frying in the wok.
But the patronising, giggling, oh-so-irritating chinese woman on the BBC telly show "Chinese Food Made Easy" just makes me swear at the TV.
She comes across so incredibly smug (even moreso than Nigella and that is going some) and it must be said, doesnt even appear to be that good a cook (compared to the standard of many recent culinary programmes).
Why the hell couldnt they have got Fuscia Dunlop to do it instead?
for anyone who hasnt seen it, this is the programme:

Last night made me laugh, compares a full-blown Stir fry noodle dish to a pot noodle, didn't mention how much the ingredients cost though did she?
Stupid mare….
She gets right up my pipe she does, but I know have to watch it just to pick holes in the program.
As for buying her book, I think I'd get more pleasure worming the cat!
