Without wishing to get into a debate on the rights and wrongs of banger racing & it's TV appeal, it was interesting to compare the BTCC coverage to the WTCC coverage from Brands. The WTCC racing appeared to be much much cleaner.Martin_Hx said:

Some good racing though, specially enjoyed the comical clio's who seemed to be smacking in to each other at every opertunity...is there a daily compertition between BTCC and the Clio's as to who can damage the most cars??? lol
Nice pictures... I was at Knickerbox corner most of the day and then the start/finish, even with plenty of Suncream on I still managed to get burnt

We watched a few races near cascades, then 5 or so races at kinkerbrook, near the toiletblock bit, those cars sounded great !
Saw a BMW 840i with le man and PH stickers on it, i was flying the PH flag on the back off mine but the car was stuffed right near the back of the track near the entrance

What no comments yet on what a Total COCK Chilton is Good drive in race one from the front keeping out of travel followed by utter SH*T as usual (the total outbraking f
k-up into the chicane) - Christ if I was Kane I rip his Spiky head off. How much longer can Dady keep him in a Top Car when Mega Drivers like Adam Jones about..........
No idea about when to brake - BURK. If that had been a club accident you could rest assured that the burk making that kind of mistake would be in hidding.

I did say I thought we could do without him. I mean my OH was watching and she said "That packs not going to make it through the corner" and shes not exactly the worlds authority on racing. He should have backed off a little and waited for someone else to have the bump/dive through the old track/chicane thing and taken advantage then. Definately stick Jones in a bigger team. And the Young Jordan lad is starting to look pretty handy. A few silly mistakes but what is he...19yo, he's got plenty of years to run.
Yep some great drivers in the series a few at the back are useless too - crash when they are trundling round at the back.
Is it just me or is the Porsche Seires (whatever it is called with Hot 911s) a total joke, watched Thruxton on TV last night 11 cars FFS and of those 11, 3 classes. Utter bks - they must be booted out on the average grid per season grid rule. How spread out do 11 cars from 3 class get in even 5 mins - Dull as.....
I am not down on everything the BTCC is the NUTS.
