Phew wot a day
Discussion
Well thought I'd say my thanks to everyone involved in getting the best ever wedge fest together.
So a big thanks to Steve, Jan, Darren, Ang, Simon, Stuart etc etc for getting the whole thing of the ground again to allow Michelle and myself to turnup.
Better thank the wife as she did most of it on the day
A great thanks to Jen ? who did a couple of mercy runs for us as we ran out of cold drinks ! (my car was otherwise engaged - sorry Mattman roof was on all day - even the ballons were popping in the heat
)
Also thanks to Leo and Matts dad for providing the bolt and the spanner as my droplink lost a bolt, and I was having great problems trying to keep the car on the road on the run on Sunday
Another thanks for the donations we received for the WSV to get her there again they were most greatly received.
Thanks for the people that bought along the items for sale, to go for the charity. Seem to remember a figure of @ £675 for the Air Ambulance so that was pretty amazing - can't wait for my Helicoptor ride
Thanks to Leigh for the spares, and did find the EAV when packing up on Sunday - See ya at Brands (hopefully)
It was great meeting all the old faces and all the new faces as well, everyone knows my name, but I can not remember all yours !
Seemed to spend most of my weekend as handyman in either getting site running with power, or loaning out tools / fixing various Wedges, Tuscans, Rolling roads, sorry could not get the 280 running at the Fleece and hope the AA man did.
So wanted to go out in the Tamora and it sounded superb following it - thanks for letting me sit in it Lee
Also will one day get a SEAC ride, but might just wait for Alan for that one
The pig party was fantastic, but being a lightweight southerner I flaked out at about 11.00 as physically and mentally exhausted
Still wondering why I bid / won the Titanic lifebelt
Hope you all got home safely and thanks for turning up

No probs.. Just don't forget to stick some thread lock on it soon otherwise you'll lose that one too!

Hats off sir, as for the rest of your endeavors and the rest of the organisers and people attending. Your last little fixit on mine (06) got me back to Wales. As did the generosity of our northern wedgers (Cambell) for the required part and the diagnosis by Steve. I arrived on a low loader and departed sans beast of burden. I think the spirit sums it up. 06 I was a bit miffed at being hobbled but still enjoyed the camaraderie and chuffed to hell with the help. 08, the camaraderie and a working car to boot. (07, wedding so not there)
Lets not mention 05? Two multimeters, a dead Wedge and the AA man.......

Paul, I was running folks round the Ettington circle around 4 ish .
If I'd known that I would have done a lap, but probably a bit busy and would have got the dagger stares from Michelle
