One of the most respected names in Lamborghini 'circles' would say that in is opinion by far the best of the early Diablo's were the mid-decade VT's...

It's certainly a good looking car - I'd ask for more information and a word with the current owner(s) as well as an extensive test drive.

'contractually' bound to also ask, "why not join Lamborghini Club UK?" as well - you know it makes some kind of sense, I'm sure!

Nice car, reckon it's top money at present.
If you can get hold of another few K, go for an SV.

Inspect & Haggle!

Speak to Carlo at Top Gear Cars - he always has Diablos for sale and a good reputation.

Do you mean the SV Top Gear have:

www.topgear-cars.co.uk

Carlo trades on his reputation - I bought my car in 25 minutes from first sight to closing the deal! lol I almost bought it unseen!

Give him a call, ask him loads of questions and catch a SleazyJet up and check it out.

Asking too much for the above car IMO. Give Carlo a call. He's got a really nice Dark Blue Diablo VT with the later rear end, i.e. reverse and fog light on the rear bumper rather than the rear grill. And its newer (1996) and I think its price less than the above car as well. I know its a top notch car as I used to own it... biggrin Don't really like the lights to be on the grill as it'll melt due to the extreme heat from the exhaust and engine!!!! Think a few early Diablo owners have that problem.

Greenback and Calsonic_blu

...there is that certainly 'something' about that yellow SV with the black and yellow interior @ TopGear... I've seen the car on a number of occasions (sometimes very close to!) , those non-standard wheels really do suit the car and as for the cute low skimmer wing... yumm...

...the scuro blue VT that was Al's really doesn't need those bonkers wheels imo (Carlo will beat me up - again- that's not the first time I've said that!) but that's also a corking car - I washed it once back in 2005 and it should have recovered from that by now! Ace car, apart from those ruddy wheels - sounds and looks great... did I mention those wheels?

...as regards the silver VT in Penn - as far as I know there is no reason not to buy it and if silver is your thing, then it could be your car.

amazing - all lines of this post include 'colour' references except this one ... naaaaaah, can't have that!: arancio borealis - chiaro blue - nero osyris - viola - candyapple red - candyapple blue - balloon white - pearlescent white - verde ithaca - verde rio - giallo midas - arancio atlas - marron eclipsis - bonsai blue - acapulco blue - are all Lamborghini colours from down the years...

as the evil Dr. Fish (morning Robin!) said - go and see, look hard, haggle a bit, read, read, read, talk, talk, read, talk, go see again, haggle a bit more - then enter the dark side (another colour reference?!?!?) when you will have your Diablo...

I might be tempted to sell my 1999 SV (Open headlamp model) if anybody is interested. It doesn't get the use it deserves. PM me for further info.

Cheers,

Warren
