How about putting a non-premium advert search filter in?
Discussion
At the moment things are being made more difficult by the old style adverts which are still in the system.
These are being treated as premium adverts, but lack the 'premium advert' gray marker which makes them hard to distinguish from the standard adverts.
These should all have expired by the first week in august and once this has happened it should be much easier to spot where the premium adverts stop and the standard adverts start.

So there's no plan to implement a 2 tier section with premium at the top in flashing lights and pauper at the bottom in a dimly lit backstreet arch?miniman said:

I cannot look at the standard ads without trawling through older premium/trade ads that I have already viewed.
Yes but the business model behind premium adverts relies on that being the case. I have recommended several people to advertise on PH as it was free. They hadn't heard of PH before and are now keen posters and visitors to the site.
Having to pay 7 pounds will undermine future visits to the site IMO.
