ooh, handy, ta muchly. Knowing what camera and lens may or may not help you. Other Exif information may be more useful, like shutter speed and aperture. However, as most people who post on here have probably applied at least some PP to the photos they post, even having the full Exif may not ultimately be that helpful.
Can't see too many people being willing to post all the information that describes how they got to their final image, as it can often be quite involving.

can people please post medium/small images as there is nothing so annoying as a page of 200 full size images each over 2mb in size. It makes the baby jesus cry
If we're going to make points. If people are quoting a post and require the image to be shown, can be it enclosed in thumb tags.can people please post medium/small images as there is nothing so annoying as a page of 200 full size images each over 2mb in size. It makes the baby jesus cry
Makes scrolling through the ten pictures quoted for the 'Cool' comment again easier and you can see it's a quote.
Ta muchly.

Good plugin, as long as the person saves as jpeg, rather than saving for web in photoshop before uploading
Why do people save for the web? I'm guessing there is a good reason, but I edit it as normal and upload it to Flickr. Quote the image URL from there.
Does it make the image smaller?

Even Mr.Cater in the depths has caught up has he not?
Well I can't say I'll change my ways of saving images yet then.

I dont want to see thumbnails, often they dont come across vey well and I dont have time to click on dozzens of them.
I also dont see the need to quote pics either realy.
As for camera data, I'll add it in sometimes but it should be there in the exif.
I'm not talking thumbnails on the original post, as you'd then have to click to enlarge everyone and well, it doesn't show off the picture very well.I also dont see the need to quote pics either realy.

I mean if you quoted one from someone. Like if I wanted to refer to one picture out of the original 20 posted, none having numbers. It'd be easier to put the relevant picture as thumbnail and write the cosponsoring text about it. As opposed to describing the picture and then commenting on it once they know what one you mean.
I just find it a pain in the arse for a large picture to be quoted many times with a few words at the bottom. If it's quoted as a thumbnail. I can see what one they mean from the small image, and not have to once again scroll through the big images of it again and again that I've just seen in the first place a post or two up.
Personal preference I guess.

Yes, different compression if you use photoshop. File, Save as, then jpg maintains the exif. But unless you knock the quality down to about 2 or so the file size will be pretty large. I'm not entirely sure of the technical in's and out's of the way it works, but save for web is always slightly better quality/smaller image size.Does it make the image smaller?
