Fuel regulator vacuum pipe

What would the symptoms be if the fuel regulator vacuum pipe which connects the regulator to the throttle next to the TP became disconnected at the regulator ?

you've guessed it, mines been disconnected as the pipe has become enlarged at the joint...

could it cause the misfire/misfuel I suffered last week ?

I hope its as simple as that ...

Excessive fuel pressure under part load resulting in massive over-fuelling, potentially even a rich misfire and fouled plugs.

Hi Graham, I'll not know until I get home for the weekend and even then it will probably be sunday before I get a chance... I'll let you know mate

I'm very hopeful from what Peter says the symptoms would be... sounded bang on what I saw.

Tim was looking to see if he had a similar problem as he recognised some of the symptoms I was seeing...
