Anyone fitted a knock sensor?
Discussion
My new 4.5 AJP has a pretty high compression ratio, and whilst I'm getting a map for it that should take into account the high compression, I still (eventually) want to have it RR mapped for my particular setup (ported 4.2 intakes, tuscan race cams etc). Until this happens though, I was thinking about fitting a universal knock sensor setup like the one here to warn me if any pre-detonation was occurring:

So, anyone else done this or have any experience with fitting knock sensors? I take it the positioning of the sensor itself is fairly important, but for convenience sake I would think that some of the now unused air-con bolts at the front of the engine could be useful?
