would be interesting to see if it has a flat bottom, i wonder if it has been anywhere near a wind tunnel though, cant help but think that its "fag packet aerodynamics" engine bay looks very impressive.

Guess it'll be quick!

Not pretty though - looks like a case of "I've some spare CF bits, where should I stick them?"

Well you'd hope so with all those winglet things on the front. It's certainly not pretty. But if it's fast who cares.

Would be interesting to see the wind-tunnel data showing the additional down-force generated.

or maybe they're just stuck onwink

PH is the fine line between respectability and boy-racers, this has been classed as a boy-racer-esque car because of the ugly and possibly untested "aerodynamic" devices.

Not many boy racers cars out there that will do 0-60 is 2.5s. These type of cars are huge fun and are serious performance cars, just look at the times they are setting in TA on road tyres at the moment, they make the GroupB cars look positively asthmatic with the modern electronics and twin scroll roller bearing turbos.

Simon's new car is pretty interesting, retaining the EVO engine but mounting it longitudinally with a Hollinger race box and Skyline front diff setup, once sorted it should be rather a quick bit of kit.

Has he tested to see if the devices are necessary? I don't doubt how quick it accelerates etc, to me its seems like alot of devices that are stuck on for no apparent reason. I have done alot of research and work on the optimum race setup in windtunnels on prototypes which bring out extraordinary results.
I seems like all the concentration has been put on the front for grip, to me the rear wing looks like it is a bought one from demon tweeks and has a fairly flat NACA profile. It'll create more drag than downforce and slow the car up.

i just dont like the "slap on a big turbo and remap it" menatlity coupled with the need for so much electronic voodoo magic to keep traction to all four wheels. something isnt right there....

Odd I missed the 90deg switch.

But I agree with the comments on cheap and easy slap a blower on baby engines - not a fan myself.

But at least these things can't actuall RACE in any real series - alot of cash spent for some Track fun.

But the Chavtastic Bling Boy customers will must likely lap up this stuff.
