Hi while out over the weekend i noticed the clutch is slipping and was pretty fcensoreded off because the clutch was replaced weeks before i got the car and has done less than 1000 miles since so was wondering if it is possible to just replace certain parts of the clutch or if there is any adjustment or any reason why this would happen eg bad fitting ect? and what sort of price to get the clutch done?

If you've got the reciept of where the clutch work was done I'd take it back to them.

what makes you think the clutch is slipping?

Also can you get it into gear without any gear crunching?

Have you had a look inside the slave master cylinder reservoir as its not impossible that the slave cylinder is sticking on.

Thanks for the reply, know the clutch is slipping because when i'm in a high gear and excelerate the revs rise and i dont really go much faster. Popped over to see the bloke who i bought it off, he sent the bell housing away to have it fitted then just replaced it when it came back pre essembeled(sp).

So will give the clutch supplier a bell and ask there advice, and will check slave master cylinder reservoir.

It could just need bleeding!
Is there any signs of oil under the bellhousing?
As Matt says check the reservoir.
