Had to replace two of my Goodyear F1's the other day, they had split about half an inch up from the rim. Suggest if anyone is running the new ones to check them out. Mine were very close to causing a blow-out, which would have been interesting as they were both on the front. Strange thing was that they were on the inside of the tyre, and nothing on the out side.

I think that you are the second person on here that has had that problem with that make, is that the asymmetric or the GS-D3s ?? as they were on my shopping list today, but relented at the last moment and bought the P-Zero Rosso's as they we at an excellent price (£210 fitted). My Tyres were £220 + fitting + hassel.

That would be me then! I had the exact same problem last year and it caused a blow at whilst in the fast lane of the A55 with the mother in tow......wasn't pleasent.

I for one will never be going back to the Eagles as loads of people have had problems with them.

Yeah, the old designs were good, these just seem to be a bit rubbish..

The ute came with a full set of new Kuhmo's, and must say I am mightly impressed with them at the moment.

Same with mine - Roger at the fish reported a buldge on the inside wall on one of my front tyres, causing steering wheel wobble. Since had both fronts replaced with Bridgestone Potenza RE040s.

Out of interest can somebody comfirm the max speed rating of these tyres, standard Monaro fitment I believe, "RE040ZR" this chart seems to say 240ks "+" (which is 150mph "+" but up to what? ) Just a thought that crossed my mind when i had and indicated 170 mph on the Autobahn recently ...
