6 and 12 month investment bonds
Discussion
I have a fair sum (over 6 figures) to invest for 6 or 12 months of my Ltd company's funds.
We currently bank with HSBC who are offering 5.19% gross, do any of you guys have any better suggestions?
Icesave (part of Landsbanki?) are offering 7.06% gross which looks attractive but I've never heard of them!
Many thanks

Icesave are good from a customer service perspective, and have a decent website.
The credit default swap market suggests they (and indeed all the Icelandic banks) are not particularly stable. I personally stick to the FSA insured limits. Id rather have the hassle of lots of accounts rather than going considerably over £35K and having sleepless nights. This is not financial advice BTW! You have to make the decision yourself..
