Photo upload sites other than Photobucket and Flickr?
Discussion
Hi,
What other top sites are there other than the above, they dont work for me and cannot view pics from them sites due to recent work blocking software being installed
...I can view other pics on here pasted into posts from other sites, but have never heard of them before so unsure how close they compare to how photobucket works

I use pbase which works well for me. Costs about $25/year (though I'm in the UK still pay dollar). Works for me as everyone can see the images without registering, isn't blocked from work, you don't have to buy things to keep it active and images can be any size (I have 400mb space). Whilst there are many free hosts out there I looking into loads a couple of years ago and the ads, registering and requirements to buy prints put me off. It's worth £12/year to me for no hastle, spam emails etc etc.
i use http://picasaweb.google.com you only need a google login.

+1!Of course you could always buy www.griftwood.co.uk for £4.50 a year (from www.easily.co.uk), add a little space (from the same, from £10 per year) and you are sorted.

If you have a site and some space then all you need is the IP address and password for your own site - and a programme like WSFTP to upload (there is a free version out there) - then all you have to do is upload an image to your own space and type [pic] http://www.groftwood.co.uk/image.jpg [/pic]
(without the spaces)
You also don't get your photos squashed to hell by useless websites
