TR4 - TR5 Drag car

Saw a nice Triumph TR4 TR5 (not sure which) a couple of days ago on the M27 coming up to the Southampton airport junction. It looked like it was used for drag racing of some class or another as it had narrowed axle and large drag style road tyres on it at the rear and skinnies at the front. Pastel yellow and very clean looking. Anyone know anything about it ?
