Scotland: Dutch Wedge Invasion

Gunmetal, Cantus, MHardy and I are still drinking to relief the pain from not being able to come over for BBWF but we do look forward to our planned tour in Scotland which will start on the 13th of August!

25 dutch TVR's will be touring in Scotland for a week! We will start in Edinbrugh on the 14th, drive to Arduaine on the 15th, down to Pitlochry on the 17th an head for New Castle on the 19 th.

There will be a few wedges as well:
Two 280i's
One 350i
One 390se
One 400se
One 430se
One 420SEAC

So if anyone lives near and likes to drink a pint or two with us....

Oh...would have loved to meet up, but just got back from camping there.

Here is Loch Tay....very nice area. Fantastic roads !

For the Scottish folk, be prepared, you're about to be invaded by the 'Blackpool on the Rijn' gang!

Yes Dutchies have a great time , but don't drink the place dry , we like to go visit there too

Scotland will never be the same after, because two of the blackpool guys are free. Let the lady's make up there mind and came over to our hotel and they get a night they never,I say never forget. Even there grandchildren will talk about the guy's from Blackpool on the rijn.

How are you doing?

I can promise you that we are not slowing down! Blackpool on the Rijn is getting ready for the trip, so all of the wedges will be fully loaded with cases of Heineken.... the only luggage that we will bring along will be our toothbrushes.

Guys we had a Scottish regional meeting today and a few of us would like to meet up with you when your in Edinburgh on the 14th....can you share the hotel or location you will be staying at...and we can arrange a get together

Could have been Glasgow/Outer Hebrides/etc but a long drive down to Ettington

Hi Stewart,

Sounds great, but the 14th may not be the best day to meet up as we will arive in Edinburgh in the afternoon and then head for the city centre to have a bite to eat and go to the tattoo. I will sent you an email with the hotel details for the whole trip tomorrow.
