Hi all
Just wondering what would be needed to complete a turbo conversion in my Astra
I am going to use the C20 LET engine from the Cavalier, Calibra. Is this a bolt in job? Also is there much wiring to be done? I know the engine loom and ECU will need changing. Also would a Cavalier/Calibra inter cooler pipe work be the same?
Just like to here off someone who has done the same for advice.
Look forward to the replys

Piece of cake mate. The mk3 astra shares the same platform as a calibra/cavalier. Best bet is buy a knackered calibra turbo and swap the lot over minus the transfer box and prop. The calibra mounts and shafts should fit no probs. The brakes will even fit your astra hubs if you get the discs drilled to 4 stud.

Wiring is pretty simple too. Use the alternator/starter loom off your astra 1600 engine. and joint the calibra engine loom with the ecu to the car loom in the drivers footwell. Should only be a case of joining colour to colour.
