AUDI RS4 BI TURBO ENGINE DIMENSIONS

Hi Does anyone have a dimensional drawing of the RS4 2.7 BIturbo Engine.

If not does anyone know the sizes:
Width across heads
Length
Height.

Also the same for the Audi 01E FWD gearbox - including driveshaft position

sorry i cant help much on this one/

what are you planning on fitting the engine into?? also might be worth having a look for the cheaper S4 as its similer with slightly less good internals as the RS4.

The Plan is to use the engine in a stratos replica. A slightly stretched Version to allow room for the engine to be longitudinal with a transaxle.
I assume that dimensionally the S4 & RS4 engines are similar, so if one fits the other will.

I would prefer the RS4 Version, even given the added cost, as it is a stronger engine.

Neil it is a strogner unit, however the stock S4 units have been take out to over 500bhp and still remain very reliable.

sounds like one nice project! please keep us infored as to how it gose!
