Buying Lotus stuff off EBay

Is it ever any good??

Currently bidding for a set of four wheel centres as i noticed i have one missing. A set of four costs less than the price of one off Hangar111, Elise Parts etc but i will probably end up getting a load of poop.I suppose its worth the gamble.

ive had quite a few good bits n bobs over the years....dunno about the quality of the wheel centres myself, but they are cheap enough as to be disposable anyway so i wouldnt worry too much

thats what i was thinking. The wheel just doesnt look the same without them though.

the complete centres. 33 minutes to go,I havent bought anything off Ebay since 2004.

Don't bother tony, i got some of these and they were rubbish. ended up getting 4 centres from H.111 in the end. Gets some new caps otherwise it costs more money in the long run.

Yep, sort of, the insurance co. are dealing with it but TBH I suspect it's coming off my policy.

paypal... got to be the easiest way.

As for the repairs, new rear clam, labour, paint, armourfend, stripes. All adds up. It's from just about the most respected Lotus bodyshop there is so nothing dodgy but they are NOT cheap!

Don't worry, all of mine are knackered. I'll pick a set up sometime, thanks for the thought though.

I need a set of 4 as mine are simply yellow and green blobs with no actual logo (i guess they don't like a few years of water ingress!!) Will have to keep an eye on ebay as I don't fancy paying the £45 hangar111 price!!!

I paid £13 for a set of 4 plus £1 postage. Will let you know what the qulaity is like if/when i receive them.

got "my order" yesterday but it was the bloody stickers that they had sent and not the complete centres as advertised. When i get a chance later i will be contacting the seller to complain.

I won this item on the 4 Feb 08, but never received it.He has waited until the item can't be veiwed on his feedback then listed it again. Reported it to Ebay, awaiting reply.
His feedback % should be warning enough.
