HELP! Missing screw Lotus Exige S2

Hello everyone!

Something scary happened to me today. While taking the car out from my garage, I heard something drop from somewhere in front of the car to the floor. Upon checking what was on the floor, I found a 4cm long screw.




Not sure if this screw is from my car or not - have looked underneath the car but couldn't find anything missing. Does anyone know for sure if this is from my car and if yes, where from?

Ît says "N E D U R" on the scew and below it "8.8".

Any help would be very much appreciated!

At a guess I'd say that is off one of the undertrays. Have a really good look underneath at the front undertray, the rear undertray and the diffuser to see if one of the bolts is missing. You'll also be missing a washer too most likely. In the first instance maybe just tapp at the undertrays to see if you can feel if an area is loose.

Looks very much like a bolt from a front splitter. There would be a large washer to go with it. Or it could be one from the undertray, again lots of them with washers. Don;t thinks there's too much cause for alarm.

Looks like one of the bolts holding the undertray on to me, in the middle just in front of the rear wheels.
