As expected it is not very different. Presumably Autocar won't bother with a full road test and take figures.

Given the Monaro quality/dealer experience, still looks a bit expensive to me.

Still good we have the choice.

LS2 ones are starting to be good value now though. Under £24k now for an auto.

No mention of this new TR6060 transmission. Maybe the car doesn't have it or again it is not very different.

Perhaps it does have it and the taller 2/3 have indeed blunted the performance not compensated by the engine, so

"But its performance is not even a modest step up from the old car".

Is it 24K for a new LS2 one?

Yeah the initial ones still have the T56 or whatever its called. Hence the small increase over the LS2.
Look for the new trans to follow when the next power upgrade is due or maybe when the old ones run out. Thats what I recon anyway smile

The sub £24k stuff is low mileage not new.

Isn`t it about time someone said what the unlimited top speed of a VXR8 is now.
