I'm gearing myself up to paint my bike panels properly.
As i'll have the compressor, gun, bits and pieces etc etc i'd also like to paint a fair few bits underneath my car.
Now, is there a paint which is very hard wearing? I'll be painting the underside, inner wheelarches, axle, suspension arms etc and want a finish that will last.
Dave!

The best advice I can give is to prime with a plasticised primer (I assume panels are plastic) this will allow the panel to flex without cracking the paint, then use an acrylic basecoat and a 2 pack laquer, if you don't have a mask you can get non isocyanate laquer.
I would then leave them to dry for a good week or 2 before giving them a quick polish and get a plastic protective film applied along the lines of paintshield. That way your paintwork should last almost forever.
