Hello
Decided I want a Tom Tom after using a friends which I think was a XL Europe ? Anyway sticking with that brand what one would be the best bet for GB,Europe etc , don't need any other bluetooth options etc just basic good machine.

I bought the XL Europe off Amazon, I am in Denmark at the moment , its been great , a lot better than the Naviman 510 that I used to use.

The TomTom site lists the features of each model here:

http://www.tomtom.com/products/category.php?ID=0&a...

If the money is not important, upgrade to the Go range to get the new features of IQ routes and Advanced Lane Guidance. Otherwise, the XL is a great device (the one out now is a new model with a new mount system - have not seen it in use, but it is probably an improvement on the previous one).

It is definitely worth getting the XL rather than the One, both for the wider screen and for the Itinerary Planning function which many of us find important.

I want one with Itinery Routes...

Are you sure the XL has them as I can't see it mentioned on the site.

I even popped into Halfrauds and they said it didn't have it...

although they couldn't tell me which definately did.

I believe the V2 units had it but the V3 and V4 of the One don't.

Playing with actual units on the TT stand at the Motor Show last week, the XL had itinerary planning, the One did not.
