Did it have anything to do with his rear tyre shredding?

Oh dear, what a shame.

Hope the driver was OK. It looks repairable, right?

The mesh on the front nearside air intake looks like it had already seen a little action!

Whooaaa!!!

Do your reckon the tyre just came off the rim or do you think the inner rim profile just sliced through the inner wall?

Is this the same car that everyone on here got a bit 'up-in-arms' about, because it was brand new and he abso-fking-lutely hammered it? hehe

Good of the marshall to put his boot on the drivers seat!!!!!!!!!

Was this a race (novice X plus numbers displayed) rather than a track day this time?

This was a round of the Scottish sports and saloons championship. The lambo won the first race earlier in the day.
The car first appeared at a track day at Knockhill (see earlier post) when it was only 1 day old! The following week saw the interior get binned and the car fully race prepped.
Ever since then its had a hard life, been bashed about a fair bit dont think theres a straight panel on it! I say hats off the guy, he's not shy on track mixing it with everybody and for a novice has done really well.

Colin

I remember your first post had not realised it was now a fully kitted out race car now just that in the pics this time it had X and numbers on.
Expensive way to learn motorsport with brand new (£160k+) road car.

Remember when I lived in Scotland a chap used to do track days at Knockhill with us in a new C4S also did Spa etc track days car was driven very hard got very tatty turned out it was a lease car and when the lease return time came they made him buy the car.
