FE is the initials for 'Final Edition'. Built in 2002.

Well, the FE got new PS2 already...nothing to worry about right now.

update...the car arrived 10 days ago in Bavaria...transport damage on the right side sill and both right rims are damaged.

They (transport people) do not care about the cars! We (club members) brought over 4 cars this summer and 3 have been damaged.

And, the new owners have to fight with the transport insurance to get the repairs paid for!
They do not want to pay for the very expensive rims and side sills and so on...

Will post more pictures when I pick up the car next week after technical examination (TÜV) and registration process here.

Ok I know your not supposed to name and shame on these fourms but I would be intrested to know who the shippers are! Must admit I had a nail through one of my tyres when I picked up my car, in hindsite mabie i could have claimed for this but i did not bother. However youe damage is more serious! Get what you can out of them!

Well..after some "negotiating" and explaining the situation with the "take-over report" of the car in the US I could convince the transport company and the insurance that they will have to pay for most of the damage! Happy end.

hay markus i feel for you , mine came in in april and still trying to sort out the clame , someone dosn't seem to be able to find the paper work to say it was delivered to the New York docks in perfict condition which i know it was as i have pic's of it . the shippers wont take the blame bds , and are just passing the buck all the time

Why not take em to court? It might be something you can claim in a small claims court? Have a chat with consumer direct 08454 040506 Its worth a call even if they cant help you, they might be able to put you in touch with someone that can. Failing that I have a mate that lives in the USA, He is a Lawer A letter or two could always help

Also theres a few Lawers that are VCA members, they also might be able to put in a word or two of free advice!
