I can't speak for the spesh but i can speak for the humble 1.7T.I actually ride one(frame and fork in a 56cm) as a crasher race bike simply because the carbon ones are a real hassle to cart around, they get hammered, and thats before you ride it!The 1.7 is a copy of the current madone performance fit in dimensions(its so close its funny)Hence the -17 stem,i can just fit it!It rides fantastic, its not harsh, its not flexy, its not heavy,to be honest its as tough as old boots.I've ridden it over some of the roughest roads flat out and it hasn't failed....yet.It gets jumped of kerbs, rides in the gutter and down unsealed roads. Its disposable brilliance as a race bike
It weighs 7.2kgs with the zipp 303's
When given the choice of bikes, the price difference between the 6.9pro and the 1.7t paid for another two sets of race wheels. For 400g difference, it does not make sense, and that integrated mast is a bendy feck up imo.The 1.7 is dam good for the dosh.
