Jonathan Palmer, Chief Executive of MotorSport Vision said; "I am so desperately sad that Craig died from the injuries he sustained at Brands Hatch yesterday. He was a really super young guy and only on the Saturday evening was I chatting to him in the paddock with him telling me about his WSB ambitions for 2009. Craig was so determined and professional, would always say hello and enthusiastically keep me in touch with his progress."
"Britain has lost a wonderful rider whom I admired enormously and had every chance of being a future World champion. It is fitting that the abiding memory so many of us will have of Craig was him riding brilliantly, battling for the lead of an incredible race, in front of his home crowd. It seems barely believable that such a freak accident claimed his life and I extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends."

For me this sentence is wrong somehow
"I am so desperately sad that Craig died from the injuries he sustained at Brands Hatch yesterday."
I don't know why but the fact he mentions Brands Hatch to me reads that he wouldn't give a toss if it had happened at a circuit he didn't own although to call him
a selfish, lying
.......
is a tad over the top
Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly and I stand to be chastised severely.

Really can`t see a problem with that."I am so desperately sad that Craig died from the injuries he sustained at Brands Hatch yesterday."

I guess at most you could read that as passively suggesting accidental causes to deflect possible blame on the circuit but that is pretty tentative.MSV said:

Just saw the crash in youtube I don't think there's anything wrong with the track there and IMHO it was only fatal because the guy behind could not avoid him... but I don't think nobody could have avoided him. Pure bad luck I guess.
RIP Craig Jones

I'm amazed that the numpties at YouTube seem to deem it acceptable to allow the clip to be shown. Around the world. To millions of people. I bet that pleases Craig's family, his team and Andrew Pitt. There are loads of brilliant tributes to Craig on the site which is great but to have the clip from the race is in bad taste. Oh and it has a rating of 5 stars too!

Judging by the summary/comments on it I think it was put on before they realised Craig had died - I am not saying that stops them taking it off now though!
