Name has gone from the site and Robins and Day now plastered everywhere. Did the guy retire, sell up or go bust??

No, it was Peugeot for as long as I can remember.

In fact I borrowed a 205GTi (1.6) from them when they first came out
and promptly got stopped twice in the 1st hour for speeding
(and let off with a warning both times).
It was white with a full Marlboro? rainbow racing stripe down each side
so it wasn't exactly subtle by the standards in those days.

I also remember their adverts at the cinemas in Leeds when the
voice over always pronounced Randersons of Horsforth very poshly
especially Horse - forth whereas most people called it Hossfuth.
