Problematic Service Schedule?

I'm considering the purchase of a Tamora first registered on 25th April 2002. It currently has 13,800 miles showing (too few?)and the service history is:

913 Mole Valley 12/09/02
3696 Mole Valley 11/08/03
5319 Gatwick 17/03/05
5914 Gatwick 14/04/06
10892 Peninsula 24/09/07

The obvious issue here is the 17 month gap between the services at Gatwick and Peninsula, is this a real issue and could/would it effect any future resale?

Doesn't look too bad to me. Had the first running in service, plenty of fresh oil changes well within the 6k limit. I would only be concerned if the car had done 10k between services (although to be honest that may not be a big deal in the 'normal' car world).

wouldn't bother me at all....also worth remembering there will never be anymore of these cars and there can't be too many around to pick from

I think it just reflects the owners reluctance to use the car in the winter. To be fair there was hardly any mileage done in that time period!

The car could have been in storage like mine has been and will be again end of the month (will be at least 8 months this time). My service intervals are irregular due to me being overseas most of the time and the milage is low, my car hasn't suffered at all from this but it gets a good service every time. It wouldn't put me off a car because it might have skipped one. My car has no service history while it was registered to TVR (12 months)according to the service book/V5. If you like it buy it!

What about the big gap between 11/08/03 and 17/03/05

The car did less than 2,000 miles in that time. No big deal.
