05 Street Ka engine management light
Discussion
It sometimes comes on when its been damp and rainy and goes off after a day, but its been on about 2 weeks now! The oil was quite low, I topped up, did 400 miles and then needed another 1/2 litre!
There's no evidence of an oil leak however.
Are there any simple checks you can suggest?
Trying use the bike instead for now

For the engine light matter, it might be an idea to check the coil pack. I seem to remember they can be prone to failure.
I suppose it is possible that the crankcase breather has become blocked, this would cause it to push oil into the air intake. It would possibly cause the spark plugs to foul too, which might cause a misfire now and then, which the engine management picks up. I don't know where the breathers are on this engine. I would be tempted to take the plugs out and see what condition they are in.
