...will be one long scandal after another. I'm thinking:

Drugs issues
Political protests
Possible terrorism attempts
Pollution issues
Disorganisation
Favouritism of Chinese athletes
and more...

Also, while these things are happening and keeping the media busy it will be "a good day to bury bad news" back here.

Drugs - always
Protests - had those this morning
Terrorist attempts - had a bomb in China yesterday
Pollution - undoubtedly
Disorganisation - I very much doubt it, the Chinese will not allow it to fail.
Favouritism - hard to say.

I reckon all of the Chinese are on drugs, but none will be caught because China will rig the testing.

They will win all the ping pong medals for sure, they are mental for that ridiculous sport.

Personally I don't care whether they're badly organised and scandal riddled. I love the Olympics. There is no better sporting spectacle. A badly organised Olympics is like your worst ever blow-job - Fantastic.

The only downside for me is that I work from home so it's going to be very hard to get stuff done.

The Chinese could be right bds and say if a Tibetan Monk in full dress wins the 100m hurdles they'll give them independence.

He might just do it if he starts 10m in front of everyone else.

Tut, Tut, Tut, you will have the PC brigade after you, calling our currency an "English Pound", I will have you know we have our "Scottish Pound" up here, so shouldn't it be refered to "British Pound",?

Incidently by the by, at least our ones say "Sterling" on them, don't think the "English" ones do.

P.S. But agree with your comments.

Seriously I hope these awful "games" are a disaster, and maybe the world will go "oh yeah, the chinese are still bds" Is that too much to ask from the media, too show them up for the tinpot country they really are?

I can hope!

In all honesty does anyone really care about the olympics and what it means? I say we go back to its purest form, have it in Greece and get rid of the stupid fringe sports that no ones interested in.

Roll on the dissenters!
