I went to pick up my 4.2 from TopCats Racing who
have been trying to right the wrong doing of
others and got quite a shock.

I can't be sure, but I think they gave me the wrong car back?

The car I left them with had a gearbox that was self
destructing thanks to the bolts being left loose by
the [insert what you like here] that sold me the car.

The engine was noisier than Mount Etna giving all she
has and a cam that had done 42k and thought, "Uh huh,
no way, ain't going no where no more".

The rad had decided it was going to do an impression of
the sieve head that had done the presale work on my car
and loose vital substances required to function normally.

I could go on, but I know this is your lunch break and
not someone else's time so I'll refrain.

However the car I got back, well, sure it was the same
colour, had the same plates etc, but I want to know if
anyone is missing a Starmist Blue Cerbera?

This one goes like a rocket ( I thought my one was
fast, but in this, my smile extends back to the
ears ), this one is quieter with the windows down
than mine with the windows up and this one also purrs
along in any gear rather than bumbling along, acts
like a camel storing water and is the car I thought I'd bought 2 months ago?!

Sound like yours? Checked your garage? Is it missing?
No? Not yours? Hmmm, could it be mine after all?!

Astonishing work by Brian at TopCats Racing and sincere
thanks to his good self, Warren and Charlotte (get well soon!)
for all you have done.

If your car needs some TLC, trust me it will get more
than TLC, you'll get a whole new car!

Thanks and no, they do their own PR with their quality of work!

Graham,

I hope your wallet hasn't been left with a big hole in it?? Are their prices reasonable?

Well, what do you know? I just looked in the garage and the Starmist Blue Cerbera is missing!!

So thanks for finding it for us Graham, I'll mail you the address so you can send it back.

Only jesting, Graham. Great news! Sounds like Topcats did you a good job - would you mind mailing me some details on what the costs were? Just curious as Topcats is our local place.... Thanks!

Well, a big hole yes, but with labour at £38
an hour and some chages waived, a lot less than it could have been thankfully!

I have spoken to a few people who have taken their Chimaera's and Griff's there as well and also came back with very good reports. Bloody good labour rate as well.

Joe - said it before, APM is not that far from you, nor is Castle motorsport... £30ish ph, AJP out and out expertise.... You know it makes sense.
