Have taken over a small colocation/hosting company.

The standard "contract" that customers (existing and new) agree to is one of those boilerplate jobbies that has been hacked about over the years and I doubt would stand up to any professional scrutiny.

I've rung around a few local solicitors with a view to getting it checked and they all do that "suck through teeth" thing before stating an hourly rate and being noncomittal.

So, any recommendations on a good techie legal firm that will be able to draw up a simple contract, or be able to check/correct ours - for a reasonable rate! Or ideas on how to approach this with local firms.

YHM, of course you get what you pay for, ultimately you'll need to decide how critical the contracts are and what the cost would be if one failed...
