Glue for i/c box.

Does anyone know whether normal Evo Stick or Carpet type spray adhesives are ok for fixing heatshielding cloth to the I/cooler box.

Anyone tried it ?

Not tried it myself and it may well work but why risk it when there are a number of silicone adhesives available for less than a tenner.
A quick google found this and if this isn't up to the job, you've got bigger problems to worry about !!

Yeah, Screwfix also do one like that for about £4.

I stuck down the heatshield on the diffuser with that gluey type stuff you can use between the joints for exhausts. Absolutely st on the exhaust, but has stuck the heatshield down well.

i used a spray contact adhesive from my local diy store. sort of a bit like a spray evo stick. no problems at all
