Advise on Car??

I am about to buy a t350, i have seen a couple on here that are intersting !!!

Don't know anything about either of them, but the second one looks very very similar to one i was going to look at a couple of months ago at a garage. Hmm.. Wonder if its the same one?

Interesting!, do u think its the same one ? is that a hood amount of miles for this type of car?
I owned an M3 for ages ! so i dont know what would be the best amount of miles i should be expecting from a T350??

Er, only subjective comments:

- The grey one needs a proper paint colour and the silly spoiler removing. Looks like a lovely car otherwise. The black car is an early Targa and will have the less effective roof fitments (not sure about the grey one).

I no of the black car,the guy paid £23k for it back in April this year from a dealer and although it came fully prepped and serviced he took it straight to David Gerald to have it checked over and paid another £1k for a full service.Think the suspension is uprated also.Hes only selling because of looking to buy a house.

That will have been the one I was looking at!

I think if I was buying one, I'd be looking for one with maybe slightly higher miles, and more of the jiggles sorted.. Rather than a low milage/barely used model.. Just my opinion

I think the grey car looks great but well priced for high-ish miles. As mentioned, the early 2003 cars need to be a good price as build quality and targa panel fitment was compromised. I would have thought a great 2005 T350 could be found sub £25k.

I think the thing that attracts me to the Grey one that it has the uprated engine, exhaust and de cat. But is it worth the amount they are asking for???

The black one looks very clean but do you guys think it would be a good buy at this milage and £?
Also out of your experiances would this many miles mean that i will be having to spend a fortune ironing out the faults ?

I'd go for the black one, knock some of the price and get a sports exhaust. I wouldn't bother with decatting. I have some decats I did myself, very little difference, I prefer the noise with the cats on. As for faults!! the car is old enough to have the silly stuff sorted, check for damp carpets/stains in the front and rear when looking over one.

Id say the black one is a good price for a targa with that colour combo and miles,ive been in the car and it drives sweet and is in very good condition.As for niggles thats the chance you take with ANY tvr regardless of age/mileage.If you buy a low mileage example you will worry if it hasnt been used enough and a higher mileage example you'll worry its due a rebuild!You need to go and view a few,dont think the black one will hang around long though as the guy has two viewings booked for next week already.

Spoiler removal = holes in boot!

Still grey one for me too, simply because its faster and noisier
