At the moment I own a concourse winning BMW M5 (E39) and I'm considering a swap for a Tuscan........as you can appreciate my standards are high (Mechanically & Bodywork). The M5 is totally mint, as the pics show, with a full BMW service history from new, and 41,000 miles from new. Two owners (Including me) both BMW Owners Club Members.

That is a beautiful looking M5. I've always liked these cars and yours is spotless.

What year is it by the way?

What year tuscan you looking at, or price range??

M5 is a mid 2000, and has been owned since new as a second car by myself and the previous owner who was also a BMW Owners Club Member. Both of us have never intentionally taken the car out in the rain and it is absolutely immaculate both external, internal, and mechanically, and totally original. Mileage is 41,000 with a full BMW Service History to date. The going price for a car in this condition and mileage is very hard to estimate, but I am looking at a firm valuation of 16k, and feel that you will never find an M5 in this condition at that price. So I'm looking for a Tuscan of the same value.

As for the tuscan......obviously the later the better, but I appreciate condition over year. And yes..........I'm fully aware of the engine problems of the Speed Six, but I'm an experienced engine builder, so not frightened and accept that a car in the super car league has to have money spent on it to keep it in tip top condition.

That's a beautiful car! I'd be afraid to use it for fear of getting it dirty though. I'm not sure you'll find a Tuscan owner who would cherish it as much as you have though. We enjoy driving our cars too much.....as you'll no doubt find out when you get one.

I know what you mean.........but for someone wanting an immaculate M5, in perfect condition mechanically and technically, then it's the best available. It's down to them if they want to keep it this way, or just drive it.

Know what you mean about TVR's and just wanting to drive them, they're addictive......LOL

Well, I just sold the M5 and got my asking price. Bearing in mind it's condition, I knew the first person to see it would buy it, and they did.

So.......Now I'm in the market for a particularly good Tuscan in the £16k - 18k price range. So if you have a particulary nice one, and your considering putting it up for sale soon.....let me know. Only one in particlar that interests me at the moment, but it's "just" out of my price range......but lets see how the next weeks overtime works out.......LOL.
