How do from leeds! Im gonna be moving to Dubai on the 28th Sept, Ill be working as a Quantity Surveyor and was wondering do you lot ever meet up or anything out there? Really looking forward to the move, experiencing a different culture and meeting new people...as well as working my ASS off! The Yorkshire chaps tend to have quite a good social side of things and im hoping to maybe be able to meet some Dubai/Abu Dhabi based Pistonheaders to hang about with and chat metal from time to time, Id also like to take a couple of blats out into the unknown too if you guys do that sort of thing???

Im afraid im not much of a football admirer however i do follow Leeds United through all my mates never shutting up about them! I am much more of a motorsport person to be honest! Im very excited about the opportunity to work out there, the long hours and hard work certainatly dont scare me, if anything im looking forward to a challenge!...and the rewards that go with it! Im currently living round the back of the Yorkshire Cricket Ground but the better half lives in Harrogate so I have spent alot of time over there recently! I must admit it could be a couple of months before i get something tasty but I shall get something eventually!
Ill be sure to bob in on the other forum! Might be a bit too shy till I actually have a car to talk about though!

yeah, Ive been researching for the last 5 years! Cost wise im looked after...have seen all the threads and posts on here and elsewhere and im well on the safe side of budgeting for life out there and having a fair bit to save left over. Does not matter what car you have, its all about having fun with like minded people who enjoy cars.
