Every time I take the cover off to have a go at cleaning the Griff for the Growl it starts raining. I put the cover back on again. Two minutes after I've put the cover on it stops raining. I take the cover off again, start again and it rains ... so I put the cover back on ... for three minutes this time. I'm getting a bit fed up now.
FFS!

I hope those of you with garages realise how fortunate you are.

I've washed cars in the rain before now and it doean't really matter. Obviously you can't dry or polish it but at least you're getting a cleaner car. Obviously if you mean polish then I share your frustration.

That said I've literally just put the Griff in my new garage smile Needs a wash though......

Washing in the rain makes much more sense than in the dry:

It's already wet so the dirt rinses off more easily.
The 'soap' doesn't dry on the car as the rain rinses it off cleanly.
It's quicker to do as you don't have to pre-wet or rinse the car.

You can even polish it with that 'wax it wet' stuff which is remarkably good. Obviously you might not get a concourse finish, but it's better than nowt.

So is a clean car a more powerful car Grover? wink
