MY08 Gallardo recall

Anybody received a letter from Lambo on this yet?

I have to take my Spyder to the dealer, some part or other needs checking, if faulty it can limit top speed by 60kmh apparently. The letter is in German because I live in Switzerland, but the offending part is called a "steuergeraet drosselklappenkoerper". So now you know!

ETA: apparently the fix takes 2 hours

maybe they realised they forgot to put your stereo in there?

"steuergeraet drosselklappenkoerper" is the German name for the throttle body ecu (electronic control unit), basically your drive by wire throttle pedal. If they've found a bug, it's quite understandable they are putting in a recall then

i got a letter from sant agata couple of days ago
i thought it might re my freeby reventon, but no

Thanks for that ... I even asked a German and he didn't know what it meant!
