Overpriced given mileage but what a crazy decal/colour scheme!

that is one hideous looking car. Its like going out with Kelly Brook then shaving off her eyebrows and drawing a false beard and scars all over her face.
Why do that to such an object of beauty??

If its the one doing the rounds at dealer open days then its just a wrap...... comes straight off (with a bit of hard work!)

IF it's over the top of an original Exige S demo car then I would do some homework into it's history. If it's an ex-dealer demo car, it's more than likely to have been ragged to within an inch of it's life everytime the engine has fired up, and caveat emptor accordingly.

Or maybe not. This car was at a couple of LoT events during the winter, including the Chantilly New Year parade. IIRC the car was a Lotus Directors personal transport. I never saw it go on the track, despite plenty of peer pressure from other people attending those events. The excuse was that Lotus wouldn't allow it.

I don't pretend to know this cars history, but unless you do KNOW, I think comments like yours are well out of order. How would you like it if some random character made similar posts about a car you were trying to sell?

As previously stated, it is a wrap.

But much like the car, once you were inside, would you care?

Correct. This car , if I remember correctly, was the company car of Lotus' sales director. He turned up in it when I was collecting my new Elise from Christopher Neil at the start of the year. On that basis, it's probably been very well looked after.

Assuming it's the same car (there can't be many biggrin) I saw this car try to do a burn out outside Houx at lemans this year.

Of course, no LSD meant one wheel went crazy hehe

edit; and if it's a wrap, it'll be no more than a couple of £k to do which makes it a little overpriced I think.

I would expect any potential buyer to do their homework, and for me as the seller to be 100% honest and open about it's history. Frankly, I wouldn't care less if someone wanted to make comment about a car I was wanting to sell.

Having said that, you're right that I don't know for sure so I will amend my post accordingly. Can't say fairer than that now, can you?
