Are you getting logged out every 5 minutes? And is this when just using PH to browse around (ie not clicking on any links in posts to other parts of the site?

This is not something I have seen myself using the site, so will have to play with the settings and see if I can replicate it to find the problem, but I expect this will be one of those hard to diagnose problems.

Happens to me from time to time. It's to do with cookies and .co.uk/.com clashing.

If you're using Firefox then delete PH cookies for both .co.uk and .com and that should sort it out.

My usual problem is that I log in and then it tells me to log in again ad infinitum...

One of the problems is the .co.uk and .com problem (the browser treats them as different sites so requires you to have logged into both), but there does seem to be another problem where it decides the user is not logged in suddenly and asks them to login again, even though they have been using the site fine.

I would suggest clearing the cookies for PistonHeads and try again and see if that solves the problem.
