North Wales Tour - 16th August

It's time for another tour guys, and I've opneed it up to other cars this time.

It’s on Saturday 16th starting outside Shrewsbury then around North Wales before finish outside Chirk.


If you just wish to join for the day or a few hour then please join by adding your name.

We'll start out at Shrewsbury at 9.30am, stop for a pub lunch around 12 and finish around 4.30pm. The route is around 180 miles of unbelievable roads.

We'll split into two groups this time as usual to suit different driving styles

The route will avoid the main tourist routes and take in more challenging scenic roads. We’ll take in our favourite roads from the last trip.

We’ll start out a few miles closer at the Shrewbury Dobbies garden Centre Roundabout Roundabout. The same one used for the October tour.

I recommend purchasing some cheap walkie talkie this time like the Binatone MR150. You can get them from Asda.

I've got Autoroute 2006 so you can download direction and TomTom Files. I supply details a few days before the run.

Hello Chaps, as a fellow Furballer (FB5K), I would love to come along on this mini road trip. Due to work commitments I've been tied up with work all summer, hence have not done many. I'm interested in coming along, possibly with a friend or two... however, we're karting in Loughborough @ 6pm, so wouldn't be able to make the whole run.

Could you post a route so that we can decide how much we might be able to do with you all?

I'd really like to come along to this if I can, provided my cars all back on the road for the weekend and I finish work early enough to drive up on Friday I very likely shall!

Where in Shrewsbury is the meet? Or is this top secret information?

Would have loved to join you but sadly working. Just a note. Dont forget the Flower Show is on this weekend so make sure you can get into Dobbies car park!
