I love your excitement! That's just the way it should be smile. Car looks fab. Would you like to consider the SPAreRING trip in October? Great fun and yoru Cerbera will love your forever if you both go!wink

Don't have the thread immediately to hand - actually - think it's a 'sticky' at the top of the Cerbera forum.

Hope you have some bright sunshine and dry roads when you collect your car! Enjoy! tongue out

Have you baught your AA breakdown and repair cover yet?

BTW there is a 2 week activation period - if your car developes a fault in the first 2 weeks of cover they will not pay out.

Nice looking Car Al - Welcome to Cerb ownership, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
In your other thread you asked "How do they handle?" Well they handle really well, but the big difference between the Cerb and something like the Scooby is that its all down to you, and not technology. You know some towns have those huge great roundabouts, well I was being driven round one by a mate in his new Imprezza, he turned to me and said "Look what this car will do", and flattened his foot to the floor, he had one hand on the wheel, and the car just kept going round, no drama, no fuss, very impressive, but also very boring, it was the car doing all the work. In a Cerbera you would have to work hard and control the car, maybe it wouldn't go round as fast as the scooby, but so what? It's so much more fun, and so much more rewarding.

The cover to which Mr. Storer refers is repair cover offered by the AA which will pay out the first £500 of any breakdown (subject to conditions) up to five times a year, for cars less than 10 years old. Quite a lot of people on here (myself included) have signed up for it (it's about £120 IIRC).

You dont have to do The Ring or the Spa TD, but what better way to get to know your car than a Euro road trip with other Cerb/TVR owners and a support package from TVRMonster/Dulfords? 1000 odd miles of autobahns and open roads and a helping hand if needed smile

Dont see the point if its for cars under 10 years old, it was registered in 1999 so the time is nearly up on it now.

Al, if you read the T&Cs' as long as the car is FIRST registered with the AA BEFORE its 10th birthday, then they will continue to cover you. They only wont cover cars older than 10 years when applying for the breakdown cover. So get in quickwink Worth its weight in gold!
