I am looking hopefully at a 111s this weekend and the car is due it's c service May next year. I realise that the service is the big one and I wondered if it was common practice to change the water pump within this service. Also I am looking at using an approved place to do this, not a Lotus dealer. Can anyone tell me who is nearest to me in Thatcham, Berks to do this. Cheers

A lot of people change the water pump at the same time as changing the cambelt, i did not bother on the basis if it aint broke dont fix it. You will get a lot of recommendations on here for places.

I've got one coming up in about 500 miles is there anything that I should get done other than the normal 'book' service? I'm not aware of any problems with the car (except for a sticky handbreak..)

I requested both the coolant and brake fluid to be changed. Neither included within the 'C' service schedule, IIRC.
