at the 11th hour, i have been given an option to go it alone as a contractor. I will most likely fall within the IR35 regulations as i will still be doing what i am doing now but will ahve the freedom to pursue my own ventures and work for 2 companies at the same time!

I am currently looking into how i should price myself in the market, considering i am now liable for my own Tax, NI etc contributions.

I will not be working via a umbrella company i will set up my own Limited comapny to front this with the help of a local accountant.

I am now wondering what i should be including in my priing structure so i dont get canned come year end!

I meant to post on this but kept forgetting. I take it you're content that this isn't a ruse by your company to ease you off the payroll without a redundancy and then cull you contract after a short time? Stranger things have happened - proceed with caution.

I wouldnt think so, but fully understand why you have said this. The company do not want me to leave them and work for a competitor 100% so they have offered to keep me on as a contractor 2 days per week. The other company are happy with have me 3 days per week!
