OBNS n Friends Track Evening 2.9.08 at Snetterton
Discussion
Following the success of the last event in May I am pleased to announce that OBNS Motorsport in conjunction with Motor Sport Vision have arranged another track event to be held on the 2nd of September.
The event is open to Caterhams & Westfields, in fact all 7esque types of car. (Sorry not others)
The event will be held at Snetterton.
The cost for this event will be: -
£85 for one car with
A second driver and
One passenger free of charge.
Again there will be free use of the garages and
Professional instruction will be available at an expected cost of £25 per session.
An Open Pit Lane format.
40 car maximum on the evening
Providing that we get the numbers at the evening event, the track will be for our exclusive use.
The evening session starts at 5.15 pm with the track closing at 7.45pm light depending
Following recent discussions with the Lotus7 club I am no longer able to post anything about this or future events on the Club’s website. However, I have opened a page on my own website www.obns.co.uk which contains full details. Because of this restriction I would be grateful if you would mention the event to any of your friends who you may believe would be interested in attending.
The majority of cars will be 7’s,
If you have thought about taking your car on track but have not done so yet, this will be an ideal event to stick your toe in the water. In addition to the professional instruction, you will be able to get rides with some of the experienced drivers, who will no doubt also be happy to accompany you in your car, to enable them to show you lines, brake points, turn in points, clipping points and the correct exit points.
Booking and payment will again be made directly with MSV via a hidden page on their website. You will need to send me an e-mail and I will then send you the link or you can book and pay by telephoning MSV on 01474875216.
Motor Sport Vision is the track day organiser for this event NOT OBNS Ltd. and as such you should be able to arrange track insurance cover if you wish.
Let hope that the sun shines on us yet again.
