Secure Parking: Suitable for bikes?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Am currently looking for an apartment in Liverpool, but I'm having difficulties finding somewhere that has a garage (Obviously apartments with garages are quite rare)
How secure is 'secure parking' that's offered with some places? Is it usually suitable for a bike?
Anyone live in an apartment with a bike? I imagine I'd be constantly worried about it if it was parked on the street :/

Insurance companies tend to pay very little attention to either gated , or underground secure parking, when compared to a brick built garage. There must be a statistical reason for this.
Biggest problem you'll face, is if the scrotes can see it, they can nick it, pretty much regardless of the physical security you put in their way.
Failing being able to hide it, I'd recommend moving next door to someone with a much nicer bike

Pretty much what happened to my first K6. Parked in a facility as described above, no doubt spotted and called in by the local 15 yer old dope smoker, a van with three big blokes and the rest is history. They got in through "secure" electric gates without any trouble - apparently they have a device which can ping the electronics and open the gates.Biggest problem you'll face, is if the scrotes can see it, they can nick it, pretty much regardless of the physical security you put in their way.
