MK5 Golf Clutch

hi, the clutch feels sort of springy at times. This happens mainly after high revs or after its being driven for over 20 minutes. I put my foot down and it has little gaps where you feel little points in the clutch. On start-up its just normal. dont know if ive described the problem correctly, but feel free to ask questions.
