Can anyone tell if they have fitted a HID kit to a ep3 civic type r
& tell me where they have got it fitted and how much

More helpfully (instead of just being an internet douchebag), if the EP3 civic ever had HID lights as standard, they will be Euro type approved and thus legal to use (if my understanding of the law is correct).

They appear to be about £250 off eBay (obvious questionalble legality notwithstanding), my understanding is they're relatively easy to fit (straight swap, just a matter of siting the ballasts for the self levelling system). It is my understanding that because they self level, they require minimal calibration, so you should be able to do it yourself.

Hope this is a bit more helpful than my initial internet-warrior post, hopefully someone with direct experience will be along shortly smile

So if they wern't an option on the car originally they cant be retrofitted?

its my brother in law who having them done & he wants 2 buy some on ebay ive been told they are easy 2 fit then other people have turned me away when i have ask them to fit them,im not good with electrics so i rather pay 2 get them fitted,does anyone know where to have them fitted in midlands?
